Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha, where your professional guide will meet you at your hotel, residence or another confirmed pickup point. After introductions, luggage loading and a short safari briefing, begin driving toward Tarangire National Park.

Serengeti Great Migration or Resident Wildlife Safari

A second complete Serengeti-focused day provides even more flexibility to explore new wildlife areas, revisit productive locations or focus on seasonal herd movements.

If significant migration herds are within practical reach, your guide may concentrate part of the day on wildebeest and zebra concentrations. When migration herds are elsewhere, resident wildlife remains excellent throughout many Serengeti areas.

Search predator territories, open plains, river systems and woodland for lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, antelopes and birds.

The extra Serengeti day is especially valuable for photography because it allows more time to wait for behavior, changing light and natural wildlife movement without rushing toward another destination.

Return to camp during the late afternoon or early evening for dinner and your third Serengeti overnight.

Serengeti Morning Game Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Begin your final morning in Serengeti with another game drive. Early morning can offer beautiful photography conditions and additional opportunities to locate predators and large herbivores.

Your guide may revisit productive areas or follow a different route toward the park exit while continuing to search for wildlife.

After lunch or according to the day's schedule, leave Serengeti and travel back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ngorongoro Crater Wildlife Game Drive

After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater descent road and begin the drive toward the crater floor.
