Day 1: Arrival at Lake Natron – Maasai Village & Preparation

Upon arrival at Lake Natron area, you will meet your local Maasai guide and receive a full briefing about the Oldonyo Lengai climb.

This day is for rest, preparation, and cultural exploration. You may visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about traditions, lifestyle, and the cultural significance of the sacred volcano.

Optional short walks around Lake Natron offer views of flamingos, volcanic landscapes, and dramatic Rift Valley scenery.

Day 2: Midnight Climb – Summit Oldonyo Lengai – Descend

Guided by experienced Maasai climbers, you slowly ascend toward the summit to reach sunrise at the top.

Sunrise at the Summit
