Tour Itinerary

Arrival and Exploration

8:00 AM – Arrival in Marangu Village

Arrive in Marangu from Moshi or another nearby location. Check into your accommodation and freshen up.

9:00 AM – Breakfast and Orientation

Enjoy a traditional Tanzanian breakfast. Use this time to get oriented with the village, meet your guide, and discuss your plans for the day.

10:00 AM – Visit Marangu Waterfalls

Head out to explore the Ndoro or Kinukamori Waterfalls. Enjoy a short hike to reach the waterfalls, where you can take photos and relax by the scenic spot.

12:30 PM – Lunch

Return to the village for a traditional Chagga lunch, which may include local dishes such as nyama choma (grilled meat) and ugali (cornmeal porridge).

2:00 PM – Coffee Farm Tour

Visit a local coffee plantation. Take a guided tour to learn about the coffee cultivation process, from picking to roasting, and sample freshly brewed coffee.

4:00 PM – Chagga Caves Exploration

Explore the historic Chagga Caves, used as shelters during tribal conflicts. Learn about the history and significance of the caves to the local Chagga people.

5:00 PM – Cultural Tour

Depart from Marangu Village and travel to your next destination, pack up and prepare for your departure. Check out and arrange transportation back to Moshi or your next destination
